My name is Ashish (AJ), and my journey with jewelry began at a very young age. I was born in India, but it was in Dubai where I truly found my calling. Surrounded by the brilliance of fine jewelry, I spent 16 years learning, working, and perfecting my craft.

To deepen my knowledge, I completed my certification as a Polished Diamond Grader from the International Gemological Institute. My goal was simple: to learn everything about diamonds so I could educate my customers, ensuring they always knew the true value of what they were buying.

For me, jewelry has never been just about beauty—it’s about trust, craftsmanship, and value.

When I moved to Canada, I realized that many people dreamed of owning fine jewelry, but often found it out of reach due to high costs. That inspired me to bring the same vision I had in Dubai: creating jewelry that combines quality, authenticity, and affordability.

It was during this journey that I met Jason Chater, who had already been in the gold jewelry business for over a decade. Jason shared the same passion and vision as I did—to make fine jewelry accessible without compromise. Together, we combined our experience and dedication to build something special.

With this shared dream, we founded Diamond World Jewelry in Nova Scotia.
